I sent another email to him yesterday, along with a link to here. Just checked and no reply to 2 emails that I've sent him (1 last week, too).
A couple or 3 years ago when he bought the 2nd disk I had told him that I wanted to send him a donation, but I wanted to discuss it by email. He gave me an email address that wasn't related to the site (as far as I know). I had exchaned other emails with him with this addr. since then, the last a few months back when the server was last moved.

Iam past the stage where i might be careful what i say incase the site comes back ,the fact of the matter is we got dumped ,now if the site comes back we will be expected to go running back and run it again like donkeys,if one little bit of effort was made in respect of us then fine but he did'nt bother his arse. |

I know that the SFF-3 has appeared to vanish from the web. I am working with the hosting center to get the site back and this morning they informed me it would be returning soon. I assume we have to wait for DNS propagation again.
More details on site when it returns.

well, now we have to take an important decision, here are the facts: the forum is completely gone for days without any communication by Tipster, now he writes an email assuming that we all return to moderate his forum. jim bought the domain and hosting for not throwing to the wind the work of many years and a fine collaboration that we had inside the mod team.
What do you think about? honestly think I will step down as mod, I do not want to quarrel with anyone but my dignity is more important than anything else. would have been enough of an e-mail explanations.......

He's working with the hosting center ,dont you just pay the sup for the month and the switch you back on,Its ok Tipster we will do our own thing from now on,mod your own forum.

Tipster has accepted resignation without firstly offering any explanation why we were treated in this way so i can only conclude that he does'nt really care about us ,well he already proved that.
A little sad after all the years but i feel that i can hold my head up high and get on with what is important to me.
