Yep, looks like a holiday for a while. Hopefully not too long. We knew that Tipster had cancelled the server, but didn't know it would be so quick before the site went down. Sounded like he knew there was going to be a gap in between, but didn't want to give too much detail.

I´m sorry guys.... Don´t want to be a black bird but IMO the issue smells very bad ......
Honestly hope I´m totally wrong with my thinking, but other times everything was planned and anounced.

Hi Paolo welcome to the out post not the Ritz but will do til Sff3 comes back.
One thing sort of puzzled me ,the way i see it ,you would copy content from the old to the new disk before the switch gets pulled on the old server,i wonder if they would activate it again so you could copy the content over.
Probably worrying about nothing ,but will be happy when the new disk is up and running.

Geez Mike your getting me worried ,but your right ,i did think about that ,there was no effort to let members know and we all know when a server sub is'nt paid they only give you a couple of days grace. Perhaps because what happened with sff2 is making us suspect it might be the same this time,yes your right iam thinking right now that the move to a new server would have been posted on the home page for a while as any down time would need to be explained to the members. I hope we are not dumped surely not. |

Following the dirty question: Lets imagine SFF3 finished his live - DEAD !!! KAPUT !!! MORTO !! MUERTO !!! OUT !!! or whatever you want to name it. WHO WILL GO TO THE FRONT COAST  HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHHAHHA..... That´s a good question. Lets see what you think. BTW: Nobody replied my started thread about Thatsmad or something similar in the shoppe. Or at least till yesterday I didn´t see anything there. Could be Maup cracking the eggs ? If not, there is always a possibility that nobody will crack any egg anymore at SFF3 !!!! |

Front coast well myself and Dave are banned from there ,i bet Maup is sitting right back in his chair right now ,the best SF mod team is sitting out on cloud 9 ,he will be thinking ,cant blame him as he went through this with Tipster before ,i suppose he did warn us.
Anyway we might be getting worried over nothing.

Mike, I replied to your post about Thatsmad. I don't think that is Maup. I just think Maup copied his threads over at SFK, the same way he did yours. Regarding Front Coast, if SFF3 does not reappear, then would consider going there. In some respects, since Maup copies most of my clips anyway, might as well post them there and get the credit for them rather than him. I did send an email to Tipster about 12 hours. It was an email address that I had got from him a couple of years back, maybe when the server was moved the last time and the site was down for the weekend, don't specifically recall...
Anyway, no reply so far. I'll let you know if I get anything.
I do recall in the past that Tipster had posted a link to a Google group that was in place for us to meet up at if the site crashed, etc. I think he called it the Smoking Ladies Google Group, or something like that. Does anyone have that link, or has checked there?
